Emergency Medicine

TEAM - TRANSFORMING EMERGENCY ACADEMIC MEDICINE

Emergency Medicine is rapidly developing in India. It was first recognized as a separate faculty in India in 2009, and it brought a new emphasis and focus on training in the field of disaster and mass gathering medicine. Growth and development are allowing an increasing number of public and social gathering, this leads to an accelerated appreciation and expansion of disaster services and planning in the country.

D Y Patil University, Navi Mumbai is spearheading the development of this evolving specialty all around the country and hopefully throughout the rest of the continent. We aim to improve the Quality of Emergency Care and Disaster Management in areas where it is needed most, by building capacity, through training and outreach.

The local organizing committee looks forward to welcoming you to our beautiful city and University campus. While you are here, we hope you take advantage of our social and other academic programs. We look forward to meeting you at MEDINSPIRE!
